AWOP is now merged with Wayver. AWOP is a provider of RFID cashless payment systems for events.
I became a full time member at AWOP after working two full time summer seasons and basing my final university project around AWOP, providing market reasearch and a strategic growth plan. My role included setting up the RFID cash management systems for large scale events in NZ and AU. I handled the payment schedules for each of my event projects, arranging payments in the millions. I was also the on site manager of the systems, my role was heavily reliant on efficiency and communications with event directors and the varying departments within an event. This role provided challenging time pressures and high levels of responsibility. During the winter period my role became more focused on business development, strategic development, client outreach, marketing and resource development.
